About Us

River Place Trust was established following the acquisition of River Place Financial Corporation (a Stroh family entity) by Community Central Bank. River Place Trust actively manages wealth for individuals and families while maintaining relationships, often from one generation to another. We get to know you and your family. We work closely with your accountant, lawyer, insurance advisor, investment manager, and banker to make sound decisions while administering your trust or estate.

The appointment of River Place Trust as Trustee, Co-Trustee, Personal Representative/Executor or Agent can be accomplished by:

  • Naming River Place Trust being in your estate planning documents prepared by your attorney
  • Appointment by a court
  • Nomination of the trust beneficiaries (to act as Successor Trustee)
  • Retaining control of their trust while requesting us to handle the attendant paperwork

Planning for the future

Planning for the future in the event of incapacity or death is probably one of the most difficult and most important decisions you will ever make. Having an estate plan in place before something happens provides you with peace of mind; provides your family with guidance as to your wishes and desires; and may prevent court involvement, which can be time consuming and costly. When working with an experienced estate planning attorney, and based on your marital circumstances and your estate planning objectives, he/she can prepare estate planning documents tailored to best suit your needs.

A typical estate planning "trust package" can consist of the following documents:

  • Trust
  • Last Will & Testament (Pour-over)
  • General Durable Power of Attorney
  • Medical Durable Power of Attorney (Living Will)
  • Quit Claim Deed(s)
  • Funding Instructions
